Crave Plus 10,000mAh Power Bank Review: The Design

Now let’s talk about the design of the Crave Plus power bank. The power bank has a slim design that is super easy to carry in your pocket or in the backpack. It measures 6.2 x 3.1 x 0.4. The power bank has a thickness of just 0.4 inches which is less than the MacBook Pro and most of smartphones these days.

The power bank is made up of durable aluminum. What makes it sleek is the design of Lithium Polymer batteries inside the power bank. While other power bank manufacturers use Cylindrical batteries, Crave is using 2 rectangular-shaped batteries stacked on each other. That makes the power bank slimmer than most of the power banks available in the market.

At the front, you get Crave Plus branding and at the back, you can see quick info about the power bank along with the product number.

At the bottom, you get Micro USB-in, USB Type-C In/Out, and Quick Charge 3.0 ports.

On the left, you get a power button and an LED indicator that shows the battery status. There is nothing else on the power bank. It’s pretty clean simple and elegant.

Ports

Talking about the ports, you get Micro USB, USB Type-C in/out port, and Quick Charge 3.0. While charging my Galaxy Note 9, I noticed that the phone is not charging fast as it comes with Quick Charging, not Fast Charging. Here you can know more about fast & Quick Charging.

The inclusion of Type-C port is a wise decision by Crave and I really appreciate that. But there should be at least 2 USB Type-C ports to charge other supporting devices like headphones, smartwatch, truly wireless earphones. The LED indicator looks good and it blinks with the level of battery while charging the power bank and when you connect the device for charging. You can also check the battery status by simply pressing the power button.
