Our Tech Toys are getting better and better each day. Powerful processors, crispy bright displays, more storage, these are the pillars of modern gadgets. One thing that remains constant is the Power that they need to keep themselves running. There is no alternative to batteries and batteries in modern gadgets are no good. Crave Plus Power Bank Review: What’s in the Box?

crave-power-bank-review

The power bank comes in a solid cardboard box. I really liked the minimalistic design of the box. You will see all the features of the power bank at the back of the box. In the box, you get a Crave Plus 10000mAh power bank, USB to Micro USB cable, user manual, and a warranty certificate. With Crave Plus Power Bank, you get 18-months of warranty. To claim the warranty, you need to register the product on Crave’s website. That is all you get in the box of Crave Plus Power bank.

Design

Now let’s talk about the design of the Crave Plus power bank. The power bank has a slim design which is super easy to carry in your pocket or in the backpack. It measures 6.2 x 3.1 x 0.4. The power bank has a thickness of just 0.4inches which is less than MacBook Pro and most of the smartphone these days.

The power bank is made up of durable aluminum. What makes it sleek is the design of Lithium Polymer batteries inside the power bank. While other power bank manufacturers use Cylindrical batteries, Crave is using 2 rectangular shaped batteries stacked on each other. That makes the power bank slimmer than most of the power banks available in the market.

At the front, you get Crave Plus branding and at the back, you can see quick info about the power bank along with the product number. At the bottom, you get Micro USB-in, USB Type-C In/Out, and Quick Charge 3.0 ports. On the left, you get a power button and an LED indicator that shows the battery status. There is nothing else on the power bank. It’s pretty clean simple and elegant.

Ports

Talking about the ports, you get Micro USB, USB Type-C in/out port, and Quick Charge 3.0. While charging my Galaxy Note 9, I noticed that the phone is not charging fast as it comes with Quick Charging, not Fast Charging. Here you can know more about fast & Quick Charging.

The inclusion of Type-C port is a wise decision by Crave and I really appreciate that. But there should be at least 2 USB Type-C ports to charge other supporting devices like headphones, smartwatch, truly wireless earphones. The LED indicator looks good and it blinks with the level of battery while charging the power bank and when you connect the device for charging. You can also check the battery status by simply pressing the power button.

Battery

The Crave Plus Power Bank comes with a  Lithium Polymer battery with 10000mAh capacity that can easily charge most smartphones for 3 to 4 times and laptop for 1 to 2 times (depends on the model to model). This power bank charged my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for 3 times. For the 4th time, it stopped charging at 32%. If you are someone who is traveling, this 10000mAh power bank will definitely support you throughout the journey.

You can easily charge the power bank using any USB to the micro USB cable using a wall adapter. You do get a USB to micro USB cable in the box for charging the power bank.
