Both the devices are mid-range devices by Samsung. Samsung’s J series is a popular mid-range series by Samsung and that is the reason why Samsung keep on updating it.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Max
Starting with Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, it comes with 5.7 Inches Full HD (1920 x 1080p) TFT Display and the phone runs on 1.6 GHz MediaTek MT6757 octa-core processor, which is slightly disappointing, and coupled with 4gigs of RAM. The Galaxy J7 Max comes with 32GB of Internal Storage which can be expandable using SDCard. For the camera job, J7 Max equipped with 13 MP Rear and Front Cameras. The phone has a powerhouse of 3,300mAh non-removable battery.
J7 Max comes with Samsung Pay Mini which is a baby of Samsung Pay. Using Samsung Pay Mini, you cannot store a Debit or Credit Card but you can use it through Paytm and for UPI payments. Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro
Here is the better and improved version of J7. Galaxy J7 Pro comes with 5.5 Inches Super AMOLED Full HD (1920 x 1080) Display. The phone is powered by 1.6GHz Exynos 7870 octa-core processor coupled with 3Gigs of RAM. It has 64 GB of Internal Storage which can be expandable using SDCard. For the camera job, Galaxy J7 Pro comes with 13MP f/1.7 Aperture Rear camera and 13MP f/1.9 Aperture of front facing camera. The Galaxy J7 Pro has a powerhouse of 3,600mAh non-removable battery.
Out of the box, the phone runs on Android Nougat and unlike, J7 Max, J7 Pro comes with full-fledged Samsung Pay option that you can use for cardless payments. The fingerprint sensor is embedded within the home button and J7 Pro comes with USB Type-C port.
