Xiaomi Launched Redmi 4 with Fingerprint Sensor in India starting from ₹6999

Seems like Xiaomi has some big plans for the year 2017. Xiaomi knows the Indian Consumers and their demands and keeping in mind the same, Xiaomi is coming up with a new Smartphone after every 2 months with better specs and price tag.

The Chinese giant Xiaomi launched another smartphone called Redmi 4 in India. The price of Redmi 4 starts from ₹6,999 for a 2GB+16GB Variants. The company launched 3 variant of Redmi 4 which includes 2GB + 16GB, 3GB + 32GB, 4GB RAM + 64GB and price starts from 6,999 INR, 8,999 INR & 10,999 INR respectively. Redmi 4 would be available on Amazon India and Mi.com from 23 May. Xiaomi recently launched Redmi 4A which was priced at ₹5,999 and now the company launched Redmi 4 which can turn to be the best smartphone under 10K in India.

Talking about specs, the Redmi 4 has 5″ HD Display with 1280×720 pixel resolution. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 435 processor which is acceptable in this price range. As mentioned, Redmi 4 comes in 3 variant with 2GB, 3GB & 4GB RAM with 16GB, 32GB & 64GB of Internal Storage. The Redmi 4 comes with 13MP rear-facing shooter with a LED flash and there is a 5MP front-facing shooter with beautifying modes.


A good thing which Xiaomi has done is the addition of Fingerprint sensor on the Redmi 4. Redmi 4A don’t have Fingerprint sensor which makes it outdated but Redmi 4 has fingerprint sensor at the back which is beneficial for security point of view. The phone is powered by 4100mAh battery that will provide juice to your phone for 2 days (as per company).
Out of the box, Redmi 4 will run on Android 6.0.1 with MiUi skin. The phone is Made in India and price starts from ₹6,999 and goes up to ₹10,999. The phone will hamper the sale of Redmi 4A which is also a budget oriented phone for ₹5,999 without Fingerprint sensor.
