Nokia finally launched the Nokia 3310 in India. It is almost 20 Years when Nokia discontinues the 3310 which was a super successful phone back in 2000. Nokia sold almost 126 Million Units of old Nokia 3310 which was indeed a big number. Along with Nokia 3310, there were a lot of other awesome phones by Nokia. Nokia was the king of its time. Remembered the Nokia 6600 that was launched back in 2003 with the price tag of ₹16,000. That was the high-end device by Nokia.

But, Nokia overlooked the demand of Android in the new age Nokia Phones and for that Nokia Paid a big cost. In 2013, Microsoft acquired the Nokia’s Phone Business for whooping $8 Billion and that was the biggest mistake by Microsoft. It was super flop experiment by Microsoft with Nokia as a brand.

But Now, HMD Global which is a new parent of Nokia, finally bringing the Nokia phones with Android. Nokia announced its upcoming Android Phones that is Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 in MWC 2017 Barcelona. Along with that, Nokia also created a nostalgic moment (deliberately) by announcing comeback of Nokia 3310 in all new avatar.

Meet the New Nokia 3310

There was a news that 3310 will be available only in limited countries but fortunately, India is one of them. So, finally, Nokia announced the Nokia 3310 in India and you can grab it after 18 May. The company has no plans to sell the 3310 online thus means that you can buy it only through offline retailers.

It is 2017 and company have to bring some significant changes in the old beast and company did some big improvements in the new Nokia 3310.

The new Nokia 3310 now has 2.4-inch colored display having 320 x 240 pixels resolution while predecessor had a monochrome display with 48 x 84 pixels resolution. The new Nokia 3310 has a battery of 1200mAh which can last up to 31 Days on standby mode while old Nokia had 900mAh battery with a backup of 10 days on standby.

The Snake game in the Nokia 3310 is now got some vibrant colors. Along with that, you would also get some other games like Pairs II, Space Impact, and Batumi. There are a bunch of other games that you can download from app store including Asphalt 6, Doodle Jump, and Diamond Twister 2. The new Nokia 3310 also has a 2MP Camera with LED Flash while having a 2MP camera on 2000’s phone was a real big deal. The phone don’t have any internal storage for saving images and for that, you have to buy MicroSD Card.

The new Nokia 3310 now comes with Bluetooth for sharing files and also comes with MicroUSB 2.0 Port for charging and for data transferring purposes. 3310 has FM Radio and a music player for listening music. Like its successor, Holding the 0 button opens the browser and you can surf the 2G internet as the phone supports GSM 900/1800 MHz frequency. The phone has 2 variants. One with Single SIM and another is Dual SIM variant and there is a MicroSD Slot that supports memory card up to 32GB.
