Mi A1 is a result of Google’s initiative under Android One program where Google is looking up to connect 1 billion people online. To accomplish this mission, it is necessary for Google and Xiaomi to bring the phone under budget price spectrum.

Mi A1 is a budget oriented Android Smartphone having Unibody metal design with 13.5mm (5.5) LTPS FHD (1920 x 1080) display which runs on 2.0 GHz Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor coupled with 4Gigs of RAM. The processor is based on 14nm FinFET architecture which makes it power efficient. For graphics intensive tasks, Mi A1 has Adreno 506 which is good enough for gaming and for other graphic intensive apps. Out of the box, the Mi A1 runs on Android Nougat 7.1.2 but Xiaomi is also claiming that Mi A1 will get Android Oreo update by the end of 2017 and guess what, Mi A1 user will also get Android P update. Mi A1 also has a dedicated amplifier that offers you high-fidelity sound experience with deeper bass.
