Nokia 6 is running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor, 4GBs of LPPDDR3 RAM, and 64GBs of storage expandable via a micro-SDHC card slot. The powerhouse of Nokia 6 is of 3000mAh.

The device also has two speakers which are coupled with Dolby Atmos technology. Nokia 6 has aluminum unibody which measures 154 x 78.5 x 7.85 mm. Talking about the camera, Nokia 6 has 16-megapixel f/2.0 rear shooter with dual LED flash, face detection auto focus. For selfies, Nokia 6 has 8MP f/2.0 front-facing camera which is capable of capturing wide-angle shots up to 85 Degrees. The phone is running on Android 7.0 nougat. Nokia knows the customer’s demand and the market trend, this is why Nokia followed the custom and did not remove 3.5mm Jack. Nokia 6 also has the fingerprint scanner. In the promotional sneak peek video, we can see that Nokia also added the micro USB port instead of USB Type-C port which is a good thing. Type-C port doesn’t have the proper ecosystem as of now.

MEET THE NEW NOKIA 6

You can now see the courage of Nokia of not following the new market trends. Nokia always focuses on the customer’s satisfaction instead of new market trends which are not liked by the customers especially which belongs to the budget range category. I also liked the branding of Nokia in the front which also gives the nostalgic feel when Nokia do the same with their old phones.

Nokia 6 Pricing

HMD will be selling Nokia is through its exclusive online retail partner JD.com and priced at 1699 CNY in early 2017. The price of Nokia 6 in India would be around ₹16,500 ($250). Nokia 6 indeed, would be a big threat to companies like Moto, Samsung, Xiaomi. These companies already have great phones in this price range. With Nokia 6, their sales definitely going to affect but the question is, How much?

With over 552 million smartphone users in China in 2016, a figure that is predicted to grow to more than 593 million users by 2017, it is a strategically important market where premium design and quality is highly valued by consumers.”
